Pre-move survey Free
of charge or obligation
It is highly recommended that you contact us two to six
weeks prior to your relocation in order to arrange a request
for an on-site visit at your residence. You should discuss
and decide with your family what contents you want to take
to your new home and make a comprehensive list. It is likely
that there will be several items that you are unsure of, make
a note of these items and discuss them with your Tober consultant.
When our consultant visits your home for a survey, he will
need to complete a detailed survey of your possessions, looking
into cupboards, drawers and wardrobes to assess your needs.
He will make a list of the furniture and effects to be moved
and take notes of any special packing requirements. Once the
survey is completed your consultant will spend as much as
you require discussing any concerns you may have. Please try
to list any things that you are unsure of or any questions
that you have in advance of survey. Your consultant will answer
all your questions or seek clarification.

Immigration Requirements
You need to check your eligibility to enter your chosen country
and ensure that your family, personal and household effects
meet the immigration criteria. You should find out when any
necessary Visa/Immigration papers will be issued.

Pick-up Schedule
We work very closely with our clients in order to accommodate

Prior to your scheduled pick-up date with you receive full
service. Our professional crew packs your personal effects
including fragile items, work of arts, antiques and appliances
with special care. Full packing is included as part our complete
"Door-to-Door
Service".

Receiving goods to our warehouse
All items that you purchased to be shipped with your personal
effects can be delivered from your supplier directly to our
warehouse. As part of our services, we will keep on file all
receipts of items to be received in our warehouse. We will
follow up with the suppliers to arrange deliveries prior to
the shipping departure.

Certificate of Insurance
Building owners often require Certificate of Insurance (COI)
from relocation companies in advance. This certificate names
the building owner as insured to protect both the owner and
the Relocation Company in the unlikely event of damage to
the common areas of the building.
Kindly confirm with your building
management if COI is required, in order for us to arrange
it beforehand.

Pick-up Date
Your furniture will be wrapped very carefully inside of your
residence. We will itemize all your personal belongings. Our
crew loads your cartons, furniture and other personal effects
in the truck to transport it to our warehouse.

Valuable Freight Appraisal
If you are considering shipping valuable such as works of
art or antiques, you may wish to obtain professional valuations
of these items. This will assist you in the completion of
a transit insurance form. It is never too early to start compiling
a list detailing the replacement value of your effects at
destination. This will be required when you come to arrange

Storage
Tober Logistics offers extensive long-term and short-term
storage. Your personal effects are kept in individual wooden
crates. Your goods are well organized and secured.

Preparations
for Export
For Less than Container Load (LCL)
and Full Container Load (FCL)
shipments, your personal effects will be transported by truck
to our warehouse facility for final load to a heavy duty wood
lift van (LCL) in a consolidated container or to exclusive
container (FCL). The container is sealed and will be transported
to the pier and ready for export to the final destination
port. At destination, our agent will clear your goods and
deliver to your new location.
